Synopsis
La historia se centra en un adolescente llamado Yaichi Kuzuryuu que aspira a ser el jugador más fuerte en la historia del shogi, reteniendo el título de “Ryuo” (rey del dragón). En un día fatídico, la estudiante de primaria y apasionada por el shogi, Ai Hinatsuru, aparece ante él recordándole que él prometió ser su maestro. ¿Pero tal promesa fue hecha?
