An anniversary with a lot riding on it
On June 19, 2026, studio MAPPA celebrates its 15th anniversary with a special presentation streamed on its YouTube channel. This isn’t a routine showcase: the studio has confirmed updates on several of its biggest series, plus the reveal of at least one new project.
If you follow each season’s premieres, this is one of the dates worth marking. Here’s what’s known so far, no fluff.
The series with confirmed updates
The studio has said the event will bring new information on six titles:
- Jujutsu Kaisen — Season 4, covering the second part of the Culling Game arc, is in production and will get fresh details. The event also includes a “Juju Talk” segment with voice actors Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori) and Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu).
- Chainsaw Man — Updates are expected on the anime continuation, the International Assassins arc.
- Attack on Titan: The Final Season — More on how the adaptation wraps up.
- Dorohedoro — One of the series the studio is bringing back for the anniversary.
- Oblivion Battery — Also on the list of updates.
- Ranma ½ — The new adaptation is part of the event’s rundown.
On top of that, there’s a 10th anniversary celebration for Yuri on Ice and the announcement of a project that hasn’t been revealed yet.
Why it matters
MAPPA currently holds several of the most-watched franchises in the world. Bundling its announcements into a single date means that, within hours, catalog priorities across much of the industry can shift: new seasons, release windows and platforms.
For anyone deciding what to watch and where, that’s exactly what counts: when each series arrives and on which platform in your country.
Where to watch them in the meantime
Before the new seasons land, you can catch up on what’s already available. On DondeAnime you can check which platform each series is on for your country and save the ones you care about so you don’t lose track.
- See what’s airing right now.
- Search any title and check its platforms by country from the catalog.
We’ll come back to this story once MAPPA confirms concrete dates and platforms.
